Electronic Product Development
In every electronic design project, ECK brings together hardware, firmware, PCB, prototypes and connectivity from specification to validation, with a view to the final product, production and certification.
Engineering from concept to product.
ECK develops electronic solutions based on technical requirements, market needs or existing products that need to evolve. Architecture, components, schematics, PCB layout, firmware and prototypes are treated as parts of the same system.
This work may start from an idea, from a defined specification or from existing equipment that needs a redesign. In any scenario, electronic design is carried out with an eye not only on a working prototype, but also on manufacturing, maintenance, component availability and the future evolution of the product.

Hardware and PCB
Electronic architecture, component selection, schematics, layout, interfaces, power supply, sensors and EMC/EMI-oriented design.
Embedded firmware
Microcontroller development, protocols, signal acquisition, control, communication and integration between hardware and application.
Prototypes and validation
Assembly, functional testing, diagnosis, design review and evolution of the prototype toward manufacturing.
How we run an electronic design project
An electronic design project starts with understanding the technical requirements, operating conditions and commercial constraints of the product. Before choosing components, we evaluate power, interfaces, sensors, processing, communication, operating environment, target cost and regulatory requirements. This step reduces rework and prevents decisions made in isolation on the hardware or firmware side from compromising the product later on.
The architecture is then broken down into functional blocks. We select microcontrollers, power circuits, analog and digital interfaces, communication modules and other components based on availability, life cycle, power consumption, performance and ease of manufacturing. Schematics and PCB layout are developed together with the firmware, because timing, signal acquisition, protocols and control strategy depend directly on the hardware.
Specification and architecture
Requirements definition, technical risk analysis, interface selection and organization of the product functional blocks.
Integrated development
Hardware, firmware and PCB evolve in a coordinated way to reduce incompatibilities, rework and integration issues.
Testing and iteration
Prototypes are used to validate functions, measurements, communication, power consumption, ruggedness and design decisions before production.
From prototype to production
The first prototype rarely ends development. It confirms the architecture, measures real margins and reveals issues that only appear when the whole system is running. Based on testing, the design may be adjusted in hardware, firmware, layout, components, electrical protection and assembly.
When the product moves into production, repeatability, component availability, documentation, test procedures and manufacturing support come into play. Good development has to plan for this transition from the start, especially for industrial equipment, IoT, instrumentation, tracking and systems that stay in service for many years.
See examples on our electronic engineering projects page. When the need is to review an existing product, investigate failures or evaluate an architecture, ECK also provides electronic engineering consulting.
Development ready for validation and certification
Design decisions can directly affect EMC/EMI, electrical safety, radio frequency, immunity, emissions and other test requirements. That is why, when a product is subject to regulatory requirements, they must be considered before the hardware is frozen.
ECK can develop the product with these requirements in mind from the start, and also support test preparation and the correction of non-conformities. This reduces the risk of late changes to the PCB, enclosure, power supply or firmware. Learn more about our electronic product certification support.
